Thank you, Tea.

Yes. It was an inspiring conference. There have been many conferences with the same spirit and purpose over the decades, but this recent one, held at Bentley, was important because it brought together many authors, academics and some business leaders. Now that this movement has reached academia, I think that's an important milestone.

Would be happy to share my thoughts with you, as you suggest, on a future Planet Good Radio broadcast - and will try to tune into an upcoming broadcast. - Dar

I SO wanted to be at that conference! Sounds like it gave attendees a lot of value and hope for the future.

Would like to invite you to share your thoughts on a future broadcast of Planet Good Radio...I will be talking this week with Michael Pirron, the CEO of Impact Makers -- he was recently named to Business Week's Most Promising Social Entrepreneurs. If you have a chance, please call-in and provide your perspective, or ask a question of the guest.

We air live every Thursday at 3 p.m. Pacific (see planetgoodradio.com for more info).

Thanks Dar!

Thank you, Kevin. I appreciate your observations. I see that you are involved in this area. So perhaps you can shed light on this: Why do so many companies NOT do this? a) because they just don't "get it" - or b) because they don't know HOW to do it?

My intent in writing my latest book NOBLE ENTERPRISE: The Commonsense Guide to Uplifting People and Profits was to show traditional leaders why it's so important - and how to do it.

Keep up the good work! - Dar

Darwin, your message resonates with me. People need to be seen as whole individuals; mental, physical and spiritual. Employers who want that competitive advantage, that missing catalyst for exponential success, they need to win over the employees' heads, hands and hearts. For employees to become fully engaged in an organization's mission, that organization must appeal to all three areas of the person. On the other hand, employees are looking for an experience where all three empty areas can be fulfilled by a career, a mission, a calling. It takes time and effort to build this relationship but it is worth the effort. Excellent article.
